The String Sight™ brand sighting system is an invention of Joey Behr of Clear Brook, VA. Joey is 21 years old and an avid bow hunter.

The String Sight™ is a 3 piece set that attaches to the bow string which allows for a wider range of shots with a single pin. This gives you a clear sight window and no need for a peep sight.

The String Sight™ works backwards from other sights, because you rotate the back of the bow down or up to adjust for the different shots. It takes about 30 – 45 minutes to sight in and once it is you wrap the String Sight™ with the extra wrapping string provided to lock the String Sight™ in place.

Using the String Sight™ isn’t all that different from using a regular sighting system. When you’re using the String Sight™ you still want to go through a “mental check list” while your at full draw. After everything is correct, then you rotate to the proper marker.

The String Sight™ also forces you to have better technique. After you’re sighted in, if your shots are either to the left or right, unless there is an equipment malfunction, it’s your technique that is off. If your shot is high or low, your head tilt is off. This forces you to be more consistent and have good shooting mechanics with every shot.

Before I started using the String Sight™, the longest shot I had ever taken was 40 yards. I was a terrible shot and missed 7 deer in a row. The String Sight™ has dramatically increased my technique and mechanics (which are the 2 most important factors in archery in my opinion) to where I can now hit a target accurately over 150 yards away.
